Through this contest, Toyota aims to promote the development of human resources among its technical personnel who form the core of the workforce. Since the inception of this contest over a decade ago, the healthy competition among staff and the desire to learn have birthed great improvement in the skills and proficiency levels of Toyota’s technicians and advisors. This year’s finals contest had 18 contestants from three categories namely: General Technicians, Spare Parts Advisors and Service Advisors category. On Saturday 19th November 2022, the awards ceremony was organised to award the champions for each category. The event was held at the Motorway branch and was attended by staff from spare parts and service departs across all branches. Speaking at the event, Mr Kohji Yanaka, Managing Director of Toyota Ghana urged all participants to let the skills they have learnt reflect in their daily service delivery to customers and be rewarded with a smile.
